Rowter FArm Campsite
If you love country walks, and breath taking views, Rowter Farm is the place for you.
Rowter Farm is a working hill farm situated in a peaceful location at the top of the Winnats Pass, Castleton. The famous village of Castleton is just over a mile away with its many pubs, gift shops and caves, with Peveril Castle being one of our neighbours! For a real flavour of the Peak District, Rowter Farm would be hard to beat, being a perfect base for keen walkers and mountain bikers and is within easy reach of all the Peak Districts attractions! The camping field itself is 2 acres giving plenty of space for family games, views of Mam Tor can be seen from the field too! We are a 30 minute walk from castleton town centre(1 1/2 miles). We are also close to the village of Edale, which is great for walks, kinder scout, jacobs ladder, and is the official start to the pennine way.
We have basic facilities which are kept clean. We have separate Male and Female toilets and showers and also washing up facilities and a fridge/freezer.

The showers take a £1 coin for 3 minutes.
Essentials are sold at the farmhouse; eggs, milk, bread etc.
Fires are not permitted. Only in a raised fire pit or bbq off the ground. Fire Pits available to hire on site with wood available too.
No loud noise after 10pm
